茶叶，是大自然恩赐于全人类不可或缺的瑰宝，是连接人类文明的圣洁桥梁。2019年联合国第74届大会将每年5月21日确定为“国际茶日”，从此，全球茶人有了自己的节日，携手登上了促进茶产业持续健康发展的世界平台，构建了各国和各民族茶文化交融互鉴的人文空间。

为促进国际间茶产业交流与合作，推动我国及全球茶产业持续健康发展，2021年5月21日，第二个“国际茶日”中国主场活动，中国农业国际合作促进会茶产业委员会、中国贸促会农业行业分会、中国茶产业联盟、中国茶叶流通协会、意大利对外贸易委员会、斯里兰卡茶叶委员会、欧美工商会等24家相关机构在第四届中国国际茶叶博览会上共同发布了2021“国际茶日”促进茶产业发展倡议。中国农业国际合作促进会茶产业委员会会长吕明宜代表茶委会上台宣读了倡议。

UndertheunifiedarrangementsoftheMinistryofAgricultureandRuralAffairsofChina,accordingtotheguidanceoftheAgriculturalTradePromotionCenteroftheMinistryofAgricultureandRuralAffairs,theTeaIndustryCommitteehascontactedteainstitutionsinmajortea-producingandtea-consumingcountries(andregions)onaglobalbasisinmid-April.Theproposalforpromotingteacultureintegrationreceivedaunanimousagreement.Manyinstitutionshadcommunicationanddiscussiononthecontentoftheinitiative.Someinstitutions,thathaveovercometheunfavourablefactorscausedbytheCovid-19,activelypromotedthereleaseoftheinitiative.Atthesametime,someinstitutionshavenotbeenincludedintheabovelistduetothedelayofresponse.Weappreciatedtheirstrongsupportfortheinitiative.
在中国农业农村部的统一部署下，中国农业农村部农业贸易促进中心的指导下，中国农业国际合作促进会茶产业委员会4月中旬向世界主要的茶叶生产国（地区）和消费国（地区）发出了倡议邀请，得到了各机构的积极响应，大家就倡议内容、倡议方式等进行了紧密的沟通。很多机构克服了本国新冠疫情带来的不利因素，积极推进倡议工作。同时，部分机构由于是在截止日期后反馈的确认函，未能进入倡议发布名单，感谢各机构对倡议工作的大力支持。
ThereleaseoftheInitiativeonthePromotionofTeaIndustryDevelopmentwillnotonlypromotethedevelopmentoftheworldteaindustry,butalsoenhancethein-depthcooperationamongtheinvolvedinstitutions.
《促进茶产业发展倡议》的发布，将积极引领和推动世界茶产业的发展，更能推动发起单位间深入的合作。
